When you use the Nexon platform, we collect information necessary to provide and improve our services. This includes information you provide directly and information collected automatically.
- Account information — name, email address, and password when you register for an account
- Billing information— payment method details processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store card numbers directly
- Usage data— deployment logs, function execution metrics, API request counts, and bandwidth consumption
- Technical data— IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs collected automatically when you access the platform
- Communications— messages you send to our support team or via in-product feedback tools

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the Nexon platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- Provision and maintain your account and all associated resources
- Process billing and send invoices and payment receipts
- Monitor platform health and respond to incidents affecting your services
- Send transactional communications — deployment alerts, security notifications, and billing updates
- Send optional product update emails if you have opted in
- Improve platform performance and develop new features based on aggregated usage patterns

Sharing Your Information
We share your information only in the limited circumstances described below. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
- Service providers— trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (payment processing, infrastructure, analytics) and who are bound by data processing agreements
- Legal requirements— when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers— in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity under the same privacy protections
- Your consent— in any other circumstance, only with your explicit prior consent

Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specifically:
- Account and billing data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping obligations
- Deployment and execution logs are retained for 30 days and then automatically purged, unless you have enabled extended log retention on your plan
- Upon account deletion, personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days

Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), strict access controls, and regular security audits.
While we take all reasonable precautions, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API tokens. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at security@nexon.app.

Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access— request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction— request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected
- Deletion— request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Portability— receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection— object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes at any time
- Withdraw consent— where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing

Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate the platform. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Session cookies— required to keep you logged in during your session; expire when you close your browser
- Preference cookies— store non-sensitive settings such as UI preferences; expire after 12 months
- Analytics cookies— aggregate, anonymised usage data to help us understand how the platform is used; no personally identifiable information is collected
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling session cookies will prevent you from logging in.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
