Marcus Reed

Marcus is the visionary behind Nexon. With over 15 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, he previously led global scaling efforts at top-tier tech giants. He founded Nexon to eliminate the friction between engineers and production environments. His leadership is focused on radical velocity and uncompromising engineering standards.

Marcus laid the foundation for his technical and leadership expertise at Stanford University, earning a B.S. in Computer Science in 2012. Recognizing the intersection of technology and business, he later expanded his strategic capabilities with a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan in 2016.

Prior to founding Vertex Cloud OS in 2021, Marcus served as the VP of Infrastructure at Global Cloud Corp (2016-2021) and Senior Cloud Architect at ScaleSystems (2012-2016). His career has been defined by leading global scaling efforts at top-tier tech giants, driving innovations that redefine how engineers interact with infrastructure.
